What’s a GemVote ticket?

GemVote is KuCoin's community voting process. Vote for the projects you want, and the top-ranked ones will have a chance to be listed on KuCoin. GemVote tickets give you the power to vote in Token Listing events on KuCoin. Use them to vote for your preferred cryptocurrencies to be listed. Each GemVote ticket is equal to one vote. You can check your number of tickets from your History in the Vote for Listing page.

How do I get GemVote tickets?

Participate in platform activities under the GemVote page for tickets. Tasks often involve holding KCS tokens, inviting friends, and making spot trades. The tickets awarded for each task can vary for each event period. For the exact details, refer to the event’s page.

How to use GemVote tickets?

More GemVote tickets means more voting power. Tickets are used to vote on shortlisted ones for listing.

Voting: Once the Vote for Listing event starts, you may cast your votes for your favorite projects. Each project can receive a minimum of one vote, and votes must be cast in whole numbers. After voting ends, winning projects with the highest number of votes are selected for evaluation, and KuCoin will expedite the listing process for approved projects. For more details on listing schedules and arrangements, please refer to our official announcements.

How to get more votes?

Earn votes by completing GemVote tasks, such as inviting new users, holding KCS, completing Identity Verification and KYC, and more.

Is there a limit to the number of votes?

For successfully nominated projects, each person may cast a maximum of 100 votes.

Voting Rules

  1. Voting tickets can be used to support one or multiple projects, with a minimum of 1 ticket per project. For the max voting limit, please check the specific voting pages.

  2. Once cast, a vote cannot be withdrawn. Exercise caution when voting.

  3. After the vote ends, the projects with the most votes win. In the event of a tie, all tied projects are considered winners. The winners will then be reviewed and listed once approved, with their listing details in followed announcements.
